Excited to announce our first release from Planets - “Reflections”
This is a trailer for a project called AVOICE4PEACE, using my song Birth.
“Imagine if everyone - all over the world - just stopped what they were doing, and sang?
That was the dream of three musicians who traveled to Kenya in search of music and peace. Where they found one, they found the other; and an entire world waiting for a response to violence.
A film by Bud Simpson.
Produced by U.S. Embassy, Nairobi, the American Choral Directors Association, Music Celebrations International, and Jefferson M. Braswell.”
Some nice footage of NYC by Ashton Sterling, set to my song With the Wind
New Instrumental Album!
Worked with my friends Christian Haberkern (guitar) and Brian Sanders (cello) on this one. It tells the story of a traveler through space and time. Inspired by this poem by Tolkien:
“All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king.”
These are 2 songs from a soundtrack I composed for a documentary called “America’s Pastor” about the life of Billy Graham.
I worked with very talented string players a fiddler on this one. We were trying to achieve a sense of his roots in the Appalachian Mountains.
These are some stills from the music video we shot for “Reflections.”
Coming Soon!
An interesting piece on Kermode bears set to my song Honest Try.
“The raven left every tenth bear white, just to remind us of when the earth was covered in glacier,” says Marven Robinson of the Gitga'at First Nation in British Columbia, Canada. The white bears are known as Moksgm'ol to the people of the First Nations, and as Kermode bears to scientists. They aren’t polar bears or albino bears—rather, they’re black bears born with a double recessive gene that turns their fur white.
New EP! Also on Spotify and iTunes!
A cool video called West in the Winter set to my song “Birth”
“Over the course of 14 days we logged 7300 miles, an average of 8 hours driving every day, and traveled to some of my favorite landscapes in the US to put the X5R through its paces. We slept in the back of my Toyota Prius almost every night to save time and money. This project was an absolute blast!” - Ian Cresswell
North Face and Camp 4 Collective created another beautiful short called “The Other Way” featuring “Indian Piano Theme” (starting at (2:23). It’s interesting that my love for the outdoors and creation seems to come out in my music enough to attract like-minded filmmakers.

Finally, I have sheet music for Sun Through the Clouds.
Nimia used one of my songs, “What We Used to Be” for their 2016 Showreel. This film pieces together footage from 40 filmmakers, represented by Nimia.
Worked with Digital Kitchen again on music for this promo for the new HTC Vive. Exciting technology.
This is an instrumental suite inspired by The Music of the Spheres. This first volume tells the story of Christ in a way. There are 3 songs in this first Volume.
The talented Brian Sanders is playing cello on all of them.
This is part one of what I hope to be a 3 part series.
I was really inspired by the feel and colors of autumn. So I wrote the music without expecting to have any singing, but I kept finding myself singing the chorus, so… I wrote some words and called it a song.
You can probably guess the poet that inspired some of the lyrics.
North Face (Sherpa Productions) used a couple of my songs (“Dawn of Time” and “Monks Chanting”) in this fascinating piece.
In 1999, on an expedition in Tibet, team alpine climbers Conrad Anker and Kris Erickson lost their good friend and exploration companion, Alex Lowe, to an avalanche that narrowly missed Conrad himself. To preserve Alex’s honor, Conrad and Kris establish and send the Nutcracker, a new ice climb route in Hyalite Canyon, Montana. Their story, and climb, are captured here by Sherpas Cinema.
I published an Instrumental album on Band Camp where you can get most of my instrumental/soundtrack songs. I’ll continue to add to this album.
They’re FREE.
Gorgeous video of Greece starting with my song “Sun Through the Clouds.” If this doesn’t make you want to visit Greece not sure what ever will…
My music was used in this story in which Philip and Raymond Leung tell the lesser-known tale of their family business, Camel, the prominent vacuum flask and steelware maker. A superstar brand staying true to the Hong Kong spirit, it’s a story of ingenuity, pragmatism, and perseverance, spanning over half a century under the Lion Rock.
My song “Factory Cue” starts at :44.
This piece was made by Stylovision.
Wrote this for a recent ad project, wanted to capture the essence of mystery with a good resolve.
